April 3rd - 10th

The kids got out of school early this whole week for Parent Teacher Conferences.  I love going and hearing wonderful things about my boys.  They are working so hard in school and all doing really well.  It was pretty warm the beginning of the week, so we decided to get some of the wall cleaned off from the "chalk" really dirt writing that the boys had done.
They also played a little laser water with the hose.  :)

Tragon is such a silly goof ball sometimes.  He eats in the strangest positions and pretty every way you can think of except sitting down on a chair.
Jaron followed suit and ate his snack on the stairs too.
Saturday was a rainy day, it was awesome though.  We built our own marble labyrinths with straws and cardboard...best activity ever.  The boys could do it on their own and it wasn't too messy and I would say it has entertained them for hours at this point with all the modifying and mini games they've been adding to it.  :)

We had an early Family Home Evening on Sunday morning since we will be doing Logan's birthday a little early on Monday and we talked about repentance.  Apparently on movie night they (Jaron) decided that it would be a good idea to get all the monster in the wall with the green marker-aka laser beam.
So, needless to say, we had some beautiful artwork all over the walls.  It became a perfect lesson in repentance.  We talked about how saying sorry sometimes isn't enough, when Jaron apologized to the wall, the marker didn't come off.  We talked about how we have to do something to make amends or make it right again and how that takes hard work...lots of hard work...and scrubbing...and help.  :)  In the end we got it all cleared up like it never happened.  And our Savior can't see/remember our mistakes when we repent, but we can remember them and feel the scars so that we can remember not to do those things again.  Overall, it turned out pretty good.

We are getting grass in the backyard!  We are so excited.  The rain over the weekend sort of delayed things, but hopefully in the next post we'll have some grass to show.  :)
Until next time....
