Today I hope my husband knows how much I absolutely adore and love him. I made his favorite crepes for his breakfast and we got him a shirt and tie--a father's day present he has been looking forward to. :) We had a pretty crazy church meeting with both the boys having colds, so Morgan came home with them because I had to stay to play piano in primary (my new calling). He was able to get both the kids to sleep after a while when he got home and was able to get a little nap in. And later the weather cooperated and we were able to go take a walk.
Morgan is such a great father and provider for our family and has worked so hard over the years to accomplish the things he has. Logan and Damon just adore their Daddy and I just can't imagine my life without having him by my side forever. He is my true companion and greatest love.
A few things that I love about my husband:
*His great big smile that makes any bad day go away.
*His work ethic - he's one of the hardest workers I know.
*His sincerity - I know that when he says he loves me, he means it.
*His big heart - he has a genuine concern for others and wants to help people
*His intelligence - he is one smart cookie and we seem to balance each other out with the things that we think we do and don't know.
I could go on and on, but I spare you the finer details. I just know that I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful person to share my life with. I love you Morgan!

Damon loves the piano.
And he's getting so big.
I was going to get both of them together, but sometimes Logan doesn't like sharing and I didn't want to explain being in the middle of taking a precious picture as Logan pushes Damon off the bench.
Logan does surely love his brother though. These are "Damon's bears" Logan's are blue and we have one and spare for each boy. Damon doesn't use his a ton right now and we keep them in a drawer next to the bed and Logan gets in it all the time and pulled out the bears and said "Damon's bears" and gave him one and then sat on the floor by him, it was really cute.
Damon can pull himself up in the crib now, which is good and bad, he can get up, but can't get back down so he just cries...it's been some rough nights and naps this last couple weeks and then throw teething on top of that. Oh, the joys of babies. :) This was a particularly rough nap day and the boys just kept playing and talking and I left them in there for 2 hours....I really wanted them to take a nap, but I guess that was just as good, but when I went in to finally let them out they were just having a blast in the crib.
Logan likes to push his stuffed animals around on his lawnmower.
And he likes to be naked. He can take his pants off by himself, but needs help with his shirt, so the last few days he's just been running around in his diaper, he still can't take that off by himself. :)
Damon is a little bookworm and loves to pull all the books off the shelf.
...and the puzzles...and the movies...and basically everything else within his reach he will pull off the shelves.
Logan loves anything that is his daddy's and found these "gaggas" in the closet and wore them around the house all day.
I love when I can just sit with my boys together and look at books.
And you can kind of see my haircut. I'm really lovin' the whole swoopy bangs...and my new glasses. :)

That was after he destroyed his room of course. I do love it when he's sleeping though. :) Everything is so much quieter and more peaceful.
And that's my Damon with his new haircut after he had a little snack. I sure love my boys! even though they are a handful. I better go rest a little while Logan is still napping and I have some bread to get in the oven. Until next time...

This week we got to go to Hogle Zoo and use our zoo pass. It was really run. My friend Kristen and her little boy Miles came with us. We were really excited for the Pachyderm Program, which I thought would be some awesome elephant tricks...
...but it just happened to be the rhino day and we just got to see them feed the rhinos. It was still pretty cool, I even learned something. Did you know that a group of rhinoceros is called a crash. I think that's pretty cool.
Elephants are my favorite though. I guess they are expecting a baby elephant in a few more weeks too, I hope we get to see the baby elephant. :)
This is Damon waiting for the elephants to come out...but it ended up just rhinos. He still looks happy though.
And Logan is trying to climb out of the stroller so he can run around. I'm sure if I let him, he'd run straight into the rhinos and get eaten.
And this is Damon trying to get out and eat the camera. I love his blue eyes.
The zoo was actually a really good workout. It's really hilly, especially when you have a double stroller that you are pushing. This is a big turtle, but I didn't get a very good shot. We had a really fun time and I'm excited to go back again.
On Saturday we ran a 5k and Morgan was nice enough to be the one to jog with the stroller. It was a little chilly since the race was at 7:00 in the morning. That little stinker of a husband of mine was getting himself all prepped to run a terrible race because he had the kids and he came in around 25:00 minutes. That's an awesome time with or without a stroller, especially since he hasn't been doing any running for the last couple years or so. He's really sore now though and paying for it. :) I came in at 28:39. I really wanted to beat 30 minutes, so I was really happy that I did and I was only about 20 seconds or so from my fastest time. I have another 5k coming up in a couple weeks, so hopefully I will finally set a new record. That's about all the exciting stuff that happened this week. Well, I did get a new haircut, that I LOVE, but all the pictures I took, just didn't turn out good, so maybe I'll have Morgan take one to post later. :) Until next time....
