Springtime Randomness

We had some Lincoln, Sequoia, and Aurora over for a St. Patricks Day dinner.  We had green cupcakes, green jello, green pasta, and probably something else that I've already forgotten.  :)

In our bountiful basket one week we had a dragonfruit.  It was interesting.  I have no idea how to tell if they are ripe or not, but this one had little to no flavor so I still don't really feel like I know what they taste like.  The texture was kind of like a kiwi, but just the middle part where all the seeds are.

The boys all got a chance to ride in Papa's racecar.  He usually does a mini-indy car race each year, so about this time we all go up to the empty parking lot and race around a bit.

Crazy cousins hanging upside down at grandma's house.  We have a lot of fun when we all get together.

We did a family home evening activity at the park one night and ate otterpops.  It has been such nice weather and so fun to be outside and let the boys play outside.

Classic Tragon faces.  He's such a silly kid and we love him so much!
Logan is getting really good on the piano.  He's got Morgan's ear and loves to try and figure out songs.  He's learned quite a few although, we keep him at it with the books too so he learns the notes.

He finally got his cast off.  It was about as traumatic as getting it on.  He got all queasy again.  We had to take another x-ray and he did great on that one.
Damon has been teaching Tragon how to play the Wii.  It's actually really fun to see them playing together and Damon teaching him all the "tricks"
Until next time....because I think the boys are breaking stuff upstairs....

Spring Break Fun

I'm trying to catch up on my blog before this cute baby girl joins our family and makes it even more difficult to find time to post.  During Spring Break the cousins got together and painted some eggs from Wood Creations.  The kids had a blast.

After the painting we all swapped some kids to have a fun sleepover.  Me and Harlee had fun being girls.  All my boys except Jaron ended up elsewhere, so Harlee and I did some fun hair, watched Swan Princess, and practiced gymnastics.  :)  It was really fun being girly and was good practice for me.

I think Spring Break swaps should be a new tradition in the family, although next time I won't be pregnant so I can have more of the cousins at my house.  :)  It's been so nice to have family so close to be able to do some fun things like this.  I have many more posts to catch up on and hopefully I will in the next week or so.  Until next time......
