Damon had a great birthday this year. It's been so fun to be so close to so many cousins that are the same age. Lately he has been into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Transformers. We were able to get together with family for dinner and cupcakes.
I can't believe Damon is 5 already. He's been doing great with his online preschool and reads like a champ. He's getting excited to be able to go to school next year and luckily Logan has really been talking school up and how fun it is.
Damon can be the most thoughtful, kind, and helpful boy, but also has a big streak of stubbornness. I hope that will come in handy someday in a good way even though I'm not always grateful for it now. I love my Damon and I love when he comes up and gives me the most random hugs and kisses. He is such a good big brother and loves to play with his cousins and be outside.
We are loving the St. George weather and I'm looking forward to having our house finished by Christmas. We love being able to be outside almost everyday right now and not have it be too cold. I love my family and we are so grateful to have Damon in our lives. :) Until next time....which hopefully won't be months away, but it might be.
